Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of JusticeTrack (the "Service"), a case-management platform operated by Borangi (the "Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 and have the legal authority to bind the firm or entity you register. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.

2. Subscription plans & billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis (Solo, Team, Firm, Enterprise) starting at ₹499 per user per month. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable taxes (GST). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.

3. Free trial

New workspaces receive a 30-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, unless you subscribe, access to the Service will be limited. Data is retained for 30 days post-trial before deletion.

4. Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed via Razorpay. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable fees on each billing cycle.

5. Acceptable use

You will not: (a) use the Service to violate any law; (b) upload malicious code; (c) attempt to breach security; (d) resell or sublicense the Service without written consent; (e) use the Service to store data you do not have the right to store.

6. Customer data & ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell customer data.

7. Confidentiality of legal work

JusticeTrack is intended for licensed legal practitioners. You are solely responsible for compliance with attorney-client privilege, bar council rules, and any applicable professional-conduct requirements when using the Service.

8. Service availability

We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated where practical.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription anytime from account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, fail payment, or pose security risks. On termination, data can be exported within 30 days upon request.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify the Company against claims arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 15 days before taking effect.
